Altera is part of Intel.

Altera was a leading manufacturer of programmable logic devices (PLDs). Its product lines include FPGAs, System on a chip FPGAs, PowerSoC, Application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), Semiconductor intellectual property cores.

On December 2015, Intel completed the acquisition of Altera. Cooperated with Altera’s advance field-programmable gate array (FPGA) technology, enables them to develop and design new products to meet the demands in the data center and Internet of Things (IoT) market segments.
