Xilinx is the world's leading provider of programmable logic complete solutions, developing, manufacturing, and selling advanced integrated circuits, software design tools, and IP cores as predefined system-level functions.

As the pioneer of FPGA technology, Xilinx customers represent about 51% of the entire programmable logic market. It’s strongest competitor is Altera (Now Intel), with 34% of the market.

AMD-Xilinx offers a broad of FPGA products enables applications incuding Cloud Computing, 5G Wireless, Embedded Vision, and Industrial IoT.

ADM acquired Xilinx in all-stock transaction and completed in February 2022.
